The Olam Institute is a non-profit that seeks to improve religious education and conversation in online, university, and community contexts.

Specifically, the Olam Institute aims to make the following contributions:

  1. Creation of online educational content. Currently the primary production of the Olam Institute is a Sunday School podcast that approaches scripture from a faithful and academic perspective.  We have other content planned including audiovisual summaries of the study of religion across disciplines, interviews with scholars, and a Humanism podcast.
  2. Cooperation with universities to improve religious education offerings. We hope to work with local universities to help fund and increase the Religious Studies course offerings at those universities.
  3. Organizing of community lectures and events. The Olam Institute plans to sponsor community lectures and events on topics such as World Religions and the Value and Future of Religion.
